METHOD FOR TREATING NEW FORM OF BRONCHO-PULMONARY DYSPLASIA IN CHILDREN

A method for treating broncho-pulmonary dysplasia in the children comprises the protein-enriched diet, the prophylaxis of the respiratory infections, oxygen therapy. The children suffering from new form of broncho-pulmonary dysplasia are treated with glucocorticosteroids under control of TGF-&bgr;in blood serum prior to the treatment. Glucocorticosteroid are indicated when TGF-&bgr;is not less than 800 pg/mL.
