An apparatus and a method for outputting audio which interlocks with video zooming are provided to increase or reduce an audio input and amplify or decrease the audio based on the video input for amplifying the voice of a speaker. A method for outputting audio which interlocks with video zooming comprises the steps of: recording video/audio(S21); judging whether a video zooming command is inputted(S22); judging whether an audio input is selected to interlock based on the video zooming magnification when the video zooming command is inputted(S23); increasing or reducing a video input based on the video zooming magnification and amplifying or decreasing the audio(S24); and storing the video and audio signals which are recorded by amplifying or decreasing the audio magnification while interlocking with the increase or decrease in the video zooming magnification(S25).
