<p>Disclosed are a method and an electronic device for determining a wire sequence of an earphone. A third pin and a fourth pin on an earphone plug are connected to a direct current power source to form a power source branch, and the power source branch is connected in series to a bias resistor. According to the present invention, a second voltage between the third pin and the fourth pin is obtained, and is compared with a preset first threshold, and a signal type of a signal transmitted by the third pin and a signal type of a signal transmitted by the fourth pin are determined according to a comparison result. According to the present invention, a voltage can be applied between the third pin and the fourth pin in the earphone according to electrical connection conditions in earphones with different wire sequences, and then, a voltage drop between the third pin and the fourth pin is detected and is compared with the preset threshold, so as to determine a wire sequence of the earphone according to a different comparison result. After the wire sequence of the earphone is determined, a user can conveniently select a terminal matching the wire sequence of the earphone to use the earphone, thereby improving the user experience.</p> |
