<p>The present invention calculates the characteristics of a solar-powered device in consumer equipment. A power monitoring device is provided with an acquisition unit and a calculation unit. In regard to a first electrical equipment having a first solar-powered device and a first load device, the acquisition unit obtains, from a storage device, a first solar-radiation-amount signal showing change over time in the amount of solar radiation on the first solar-powered device, and a first load signal showing change over time in the total load of the first solar-powered device and the first load device. The calculation unit calculates, on the basis of the first solar-radiation-amount signal and the first load signal, a first power-generation characteristic showing the characteristics of the amount of power generated by the first solar-powered device in relation to the first solar radiation signal.</p> |
