METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR ALIGNING HIGH SPEED SERIAL COMMUNICATION CHANNELS

Provided are a method and a system for aligning high speed serial communication channels. The method comprises the following steps: each channel acquiring parallel out-of-order data obtained from serial-parallel conversion of serial data (401), and searching whether a characteristic character is present in the parallel out-of-order data (402); when a characteristic character is detected in a channel, the channel notifying a link state machine that a characteristic character has been found (403); and when it is detected that a characteristic character is found in all channels, the link state machine controlling all the channels to output the characteristic characters detected in the channels (404), and controlling, at a third clock period after a clock period of outputting the characteristic characters, all the channels to output valid data corresponding to the characteristic characters in the channels at the same time (405).
