PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light distribution characteristics measurement device and a method for the same which can efficiently measure light distribution characteristics of a light source without enlarging a device structure.SOLUTION: A light distribution characteristics measurement device is for measuring light distribution characteristics of a source. The light distribution characteristics measurement device includes a plurality of detectors placed by prescribed relative relations. A detection range of one detector overlaps, at least partially, with detection ranges of other adjacent detectors. Moreover, the light distribution characteristics measurement device includes: drive means which, by driving the plurality of detectors integrally, updates position relations with respect to light sources of the plurality of detectors; and calculation means which performs processing according to at least either the relative relations among the plurality of detectors or the overlaps of the detection ranges on the basis of respective results of detection acquired by the plurality of detectors with identical timing, and calculates light distribution characteristics of the light sources. |
