摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel injection valve capable of reducing a fuel injection amount at the time of a drive by a current of a small current value.SOLUTION: A first magnetic member 81 provided in the vicinity of a coil 70 has a needle 40 with an axial direction length of d1. A second magnetic member 82 provided on the opposite side of the coil 70 of the first magnetic member 81 has an axial direction length of d2 longer than the length d1. When an current starts to flow in the coil 70, a first magnetic path M1 with a short magnetic path length is formed through the first magnetic member 81. Since the first magnetic member 81 is magnetically saturated if the current is large, a second magnetic path M2 with a long magnetic path length is formed through the second magnetic member 82. Thereby, temporal change of the electromagnetic attraction force is made moderate so that the electromagnetic attraction force upon the maximum lift amount of the needle 40 is made smaller. Therefore, a residual attraction force at the time of starting a valve closing operation is made smaller so as to reduce the fuel injection amount.
