PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a propeller fan that can prevent foreign matter such as dust from entering into vent holes to cool a drive motor, thereby capable of maintaining the cooling effect of the drive motor for a long period of time in the propeller fan.SOLUTION: A propeller fan includes: an impeller 2 in which a plurality of blades 1 are provided on the outer periphery of a boss 3; and a drive motor 5 for rotationally driving the impeller 2 via a motor shaft 4 connected to the boss 3. The boss 3 has a cover 6 for covering the drive motor 5, and vent holes 8 provided in the front end surface of the boss 3 and communicating with a space 7 in the cover 6. Each of ribs 9 is provided on the rotation direction side of the impeller 2 in proximity to each of the vent holes 8. |
