PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a waste disposal apparatus capable of increasing the number of wastes to be treated in a treatment time set for sterilization, and facilitating a sorting work for each composition of the wastes by releasing fusion between the sterilized plastic containers and wastes.SOLUTION: A waste disposal apparatus enables plastic containers (2) for storing wastes to be inserted thereinto, and includes a treatment tank 3 storing a sterilization treatment liquid L for sterilization treatment, a heater 4 arranged in the treatment tank and heating the sterilization liquid at a predetermined temperature, a carry-in means H for heating the plastic containers so as to be softened by making the plastic containers sink into the heated sterilization treatment liquid, and a pressing means P for pressing the plastic containers which have been softened to reduce the volume of the containers. The treatment tank is equipped with a reservoir 5 in which the volume-reduced plastic containers are transferred from the carry-in means and reserved. |
