<p>A consolidated bill for commodity computing services may be unconsolidated by obtaining periodic usage statistics corresponding to computing-commodity usage specific to each entity whose consumption is included in the consolidated bill. Based at least in part on the usage statistics and on one or more entity- specific discount entitlements, a discounted billing rate that is applicable to at least some of an entity's usage can be determined, as can a non-discounted billing rate. Using the determined statistics and billing rates, an unblended cost for each entity's specific commodity usage can be computed and stored for subsequent presentation to each entity and/or for further processing.</p> |
