[Class 20 (iii)] [Also in Group IV] A regulator for sliding windows of vehicles comprises, two lifting levers 8 and 9 made of synthetic resin and having gears 10 integrally formed or attached. The levers may be formed by pressure from paper impregnated with the resin, and irregularly distributed filling material may be applied at points where the stress is light in use. The complete mechanism comprising levers, pinions and handoperated pinion is mounted on a fascia board of synthetic resin screwed to the door panel. All the bearings have a layer of graphite applied. |
