PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem associated with a conventional candle, which has a conical cavity at its bottom to be fixed onto a pricket on a candlestand and thus has the lowermost part of a wick fixed at a position deviated from the center of the candle, wherein, when the candle becomes short, a flame deviates from the center of the candle, often leaving a diagonal unburned portion of the candle at a wickless side of the pricket on the candlestand, which requires labor for cleaning.SOLUTION: In a bottom cavity of a candle, a supplementary wick is formed by bonding or crimping a combustible string, thread, cloth or paper so as to enable the candle to completely burn out without leaving any unburned portion. |
