The device has a cable for connecting to a power supply, and another cable for connecting to an electrical device. The cables are rollably arranged within a common housing (1) around an axis. A voltage converter is rotatably arranged around a central axis between the cables within the housing. The voltage converter rotates during winding or unwinding of the cables with the axis. The voltage converter is provided with a lighting device for displaying an operating mode. A prism ring (6) is arranged at the housing for optically bypass of the emitted light to a housing outer side. The cables are mounted on a coil arranged in the housing. The prism ring is fastened over a stopper such that passage of a screw is closed by the stopper. The voltage converter is formed in form of a circuit with terminals.
