<p>Disclosed are a multimode terminal and a multimode terminal resident network selection method and device. The method comprises: obtaining the service type of a network service which is currently executed by a multimode terminal; detecting the current signal intensity of each network in the current environment of the multimode terminal; obtaining power consumption information when the multimode terminal currently executes the network service; and according to the preset correlation between the signal intensity, the service type and a power consumption reference value of each network, the obtained power consumption information, the detected current signal intensity of each network and the obtained service type, selecting a resident network for the multimode terminal, the selected network being a network the current signal intensity of which can ensure that in the network in which the network service is executed, a power consumption reference value corresponding to the current signal intensity and the service type is minimal. The present invention can be applied to save the power consumption of a multimode terminal as far as possible for a user and prolong the endurance time of the multimode terminal.</p> |
