A metal stamped reflective collar with sleeve-like-tabs to facilitate lighting system assembly and adjustment of lighting beam spread from a vertical-mounted lamp. In lighting system assembly or adjustment the reflective collar in combination with a transparent reflector/refractor is adjustable on a bracket relative to the vertical lamp. On completion of assembly/adjustment, the sleeve-like-tabs of the collar are fastened to the bracket. The bracket preferably includes a number of attachment locations corresponding to suitable step changes in light beam spread from the fixture to facilitate a wide range of installation environments. The reflective collar has primary concave and convex surfaces. It is optimally formed from a single sheet material. The sheet material and the finish of the concave surface is chosen to facilitate specular reflectance and optimally designed to direct light rays so as to avoid reflection back to the lamp source and to minimize light loss from the intended lighting area. The concave/convex area of the collar or only the concave surface may include a plurality of reflector impression or other means to enhance a spread reflection to increase the consistency of beam spread within the lighting area. The reflective collar has improved aesthetics and economics, facilitates ease of assembly, adjustment and optionally has a knockout for installation of a secondary lamp. |
