PURPOSE: A device for controlling a PC game is provided to augment a gaming experience by using a gun-shaped game controller for converting absolute coordinates into relative coordinates. CONSTITUTION: A device for controlling a PC game comprises a display (10) placed in front of a gamer; an infrared transmitter (20) attached to the middle of top or bottom side of the display to be reference point; a gun-shaped game controller (30) including a sensor for receiving infrared rays transmitted from the infrared transmitter and converting the pointing coordinates of a start point and an end point into electric signals; a coordinate converter (40) for converting the pointing coordinates transmitted from the sensor of the gun-shaped game controller into a traveling distance; and a computer (50) for representing an aiming position on the display for a PC game by sending the traveling distance transmitted from the coordinate converter to an executed game software stored in an internal storage unit.
