PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable an effective use of system resources by reducing the number of secured lookup tables, in an imaging apparatus that includes a variety of imaging modes having different processing paths.SOLUTION: An imaging apparatus, simultaneously executable of recording an imaged image and displaying, includes two image processing engines for developing image data and at least two lookup tables having table data capable of modification. In a first mode, the imaging apparatus sets a display path and a record path in such a manner that one of images generated by the two image processing engines is recorded whereas another is used for display, and connects the two lookup tables in such a manner that one is included in the record path whereas another is included in the display path. In a second mode, the imaging apparatus sets the display path and the record path in such a manner that an image generated by either one of the two image processing engines is used for record and display, and connects the two lookup tables in such a manner that one is included in the record path and the display path, whereas another is included only in the display path. |
