PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a convenient communication device coping with telephone conversation and facsimile data transmission.SOLUTION: A communication device comprises a first communication unit and a second communication unit. The first communication unit copes with communication for telephone conversation and transmission and reception of facsimile data, and is connected with an analog signal cable. The second communication unit copes with communication for transmission and reception of facsimile data, and is connected with a digital signal cable. In the communication device, in order for telephone conversation with a user of an opposite device who is a communication partner, communication with the opposite device via the second communication unit is established by SIP in a state in which a line to the first communication unit is closed. If the communication device determines that communication with the opposite device has been established (S108: 200 OK), the second communication unit transmits facsimile data to the opposite device in the state in which the line to the first communication unit is closed (S110). |
