PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide: a column which is embedded in and erected on a foundation, can hardly cause breakage of the foundation even when it receives a load in the horizontal direction, and is free of having a risk that water is accumulated in its interior; and a structure including the column.SOLUTION: A column includes a column material, a reinforcement material, and left and right auxiliary materials. The reinforcement material is formed like the H in cross section and has left and right groove parts, and its lower end is embedded in and erected on a foundation. The column material is cylindrical, and is placed on and covers the reinforcement material. The auxiliary materials are inserted in a position vertically crossing over upper surfaces of both groove parts of the reinforcement material, and the side faces of the auxiliary materials are flush with an opening end of the groove part and form vertically extending protrusions. |
