PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display device in which a display section can easily and precisely be manufactured, a corner edge of a plate body in the display section is easily positioned and engaged in a corner of a frame body, workability is improved, engagement becomes certain and quality is improved and to provide a television receiver equipped with the display device.SOLUTION: A horizontal frame 201 and a vertical frame 202 of a front cabinet 20 in a display device are coupled by a coupling body 40. The coupling body 40 includes two projections 43 for positioning a display panel 10 in a face parallel to the display panel 10 by making them face end faces of the display panel 10. Positioning sections 10b are provided at corner edges of the display panel 10 in almost L shapes by matt finish. The display panel 10 is positioned to the projections 43 and 43 by the positioning sections 10b, and the display panel 10 is easily and securely engaged with the front cabinet 20. |
