PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an abnormality determining device of a belt type continuously variable transmission capable of determining an abnormality of the whole belt type continuously variable transmission by a simple structure.SOLUTION: An abnormality determining device 1 of a belt type continuously variable transmission 2 includes a driving pulley 6 arranged on a crankshaft 5 of an engine 3, a driven pulley 8 connected to an axle shaft 7, the belt type continuously variable transmission 2 having a V belt 9 wrapped around the driving pulley 6 and the driven pulley 8, an engine speed sensor 31 for detecting an engine speed NE of the engine 3, a throttle valve opening sensor 33 for detecting an opening Th of a throttle valve 32 for changing an intake quantity of the engine 3, and a determining part 35 for determining the existence of an abnormality of the belt type continuously variable transmission 2 from the size of a change in the engine speed NE of the engine 3 to the opening Th of the throttle valve 32. |
