PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of evaluating reliability of file format video subjected to system conversion processing by a versatile frame rate converter applicable to various video processing systems, a method for motion correction processing and the like, to implement a reliability evaluation method which can promptly and surely detect image quality deterioration due to processing failure, and to inexpensively and promptly execute high quality motion correction processing.SOLUTION: A method of evaluating reliability of file format video subjected to system conversion processing by a frame rate converter includes the steps of: performing system conversion processing of object file format video from a first frame rate into a second frame rate; detecting a frame with low reliability on the basis of a motion correction residual of the video subjected to the system conversion processing or motion correction hole information; and notifying an operator of the detected frame with low reliability. |
