FILE UPLOAD BASED ON HASH VALUE COMPARISON

A server determines whether a file stored on a computing device matches a file stored on the server by comparing hash values for a first portion of the files. Based on the comparing, the server determines whether to upload the first portion of the file. The server uploads second portion of the file. The server generates the file for download by appending the first portion of the file stored on the server to the second portion of the file uploaded from the computing device.
