A device (10) for cleaning a fluid dispensing cartridge (54). The fluid dispensing cartridge (54) includes an inlet (60), an outlet (62), a passageway extending between the inlet and outlet, and a valve member (64) within the passageway. The device (10) includes a cartridge holder (16) configured to receive the fluid dispensing cartridge (54). The cartridge holder (16) includes a first connector (56) configured to be connected with the inlet (60) of the fluid dispensing cartridge (54) and a second connector (58) configured to be connected with the outlet (62) of the fluid dispensing cartridge (54). The device (10) further includes a first fluid line (44) coupled with the first connector (56) and a second fluid line (46) coupled with the second connector (58). The device (10) further includes a fluid supply (12) selectively coupled with the first fluid line (44) or the second fluid line (46). The fluid supply (12) is configured to hold a cleaning fluid. Cleaning fluid is directed from the fluid supply (12) through the first fluid line (44) or the second fluid line (46) for flow through the passageway of the fluid dispensing cartridge (54).
