PURPOSE: A system for checking the position of parcels by using a location based service (LBS) is provided to check the position of couriers, to secure the safety of clients, and to create additional advertisement profits. Separate message transfer costs are not required. CONSTITUTION: A courier terminal (130) measures own position and transmits a position informing signal including the measured position information and own terminal identification information. A delivery spot terminal (120) receives a delivery request signal with the parcel information including the product information and an invoice number. A courier is appointed to deliver products relative to the delivery request signal. The courier appointing information including the identification information of the appointed courier terminal, the product information, and the invoice number mapped on each product information is transmitted. A parcel position control server (10) maps the position information of the requested products on the map data and provides it to a client terminal when the delivery check request relative to arbitrary products is generated.
