PURPOSE: An event image output device and a method thereof are provided to forcibly display a corresponding image along with an existing work image when an event occurs in order to enable a user to continuously monitor and immediately respond to the event while performing a task in addition to the monitoring. CONSTITUTION: An event image obtaining part (200) records real-time event images through an image-recording device. A display part (400) divides a display screen into a first region and a second region if the occurrence of an event is detected by an event occurrence detecting part while displaying a previous event image among the real-time event images or a menu setting window. The display part independently displays a current event image among the real-time event images in the first region and the previous event image or the menu setting window in the second region.
