<p>PURPOSE: A lighting control system using visible light communication and a method thereof easily detect a lighting identifier, color temperature, and illuminance of a lighting lamp by reading the visible light of the lighting lamp with a reader. CONSTITUTION: At least one lighting lamp (100_1-100_n) has a unique lighting identifier. The lighting lamp outputs the lighting identifier in the shape of visible light. A reader (200) reads the lighting identifier, color temperature, and illuminance of the lighting lamp by receiving the visible light of the lighting lamp. The reader controls the color temperature, illuminance and flashing of the lighting lamp through wireless communication according to a lighting control signal inputted from a user. A server remotely controls the lighting lamp by transceiving data information including the color temperature, illuminance, and flashing of the lighting lamp.
