Cloud storage based on e-mail comprises: using attachments of an e-mail as a storage block (disk cluster)of a file system, and by receiving and sending the e-mail of the storage block of these attachments, it can be realized that an e-mail box acts as a cloud storage file system. A plurality of e-mail boxes (series connection, parallel connection) constitute virtualized cloud storage. Furthermore, any space having a storage capability (for example, any combination of a cloud storage service provider, a network disk, and an ftp, which are self-organized) can realize infinite capacity extension, disaster recovery backup and parallel storage systems by means of virtualization storage.
