Abstract 5 Method for warming a so-called "cup-warming" device in a machine for preparing drinks, involving, among other things, transmitting by conduction a part only of the surface heat of the heating body (7) to the cup holder (4) of said device; which heating body is also used to heat the water in the machine. The method is also intended to at least partially damp the vibrations transmissible by the heating body to the surface of the 10 cup holder.
