PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a disk drive having reduced susceptibility to shock.SOLUTION: A disk drive 1 includes a rotating body 6 on which a magnetic recording disk 8 is mounted and a fixed body 5 which rotatably supports the rotating body 6 via a bearing unit 12. The rotating body 6 includes a protruded section 28g that fits into a central hole 8a of the magnetic recording disk 8, a clamper 36 which is secured to the protruded section 28g, and a mounting section 28h located further out from the protruded section 28g in the radial direction. The protruded section 28g and the mounting section 28h are structured such that, when the clamper 36 is secured to the protruded section 28g with the magnetic recording disk 8 sandwiched between the clamper 36 and the mounting section 28h, the mounting section 28h moves with respect to the protruded section 28g. |
