PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display device and a television receiver which can both prevent the leakage of light and reduce unnecessary radiation, and have a board fixation structure in which the bent angle of a board fixation portion is less likely to change when a circuit board is inserted.SOLUTION: The display device comprises a metal made support box 4 including a bottom plate parallel to a display panel 2 and a circuit board 51 secured to the outer surface side of the bottom plate parallel to the display panel 2 of the support box 4, characterized in that fixation pieces created by cutting and raising part of the bottom plate parallel to the display panel 2 of the support box 4 have a plurality of board fixation portions 41 and 42 having slits notched in a direction parallel to the display panel 2, the board fixation portions 41 and 42 being formed to be parallel to each other. Part of the circuit board 51 is fitted into the slits, and the circuit board 51 and the support box 4 are electrically connected. Cut and raised holes in the support box 4 created by cutting and raising the fixation pieces are located at positions covered by the circuit board 51 in a rear view of the display device. |
