PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a conveyance device for a simply-structure roll-shaped material that can apply a constant tension to a roll-shaped material to be recorded even if a roll diameter changes.SOLUTION: A conveyance device 1 for a roll-shaped material to be recorded includes: spindles 4L, 4R that support a roll part 31 of the roll-shaped material P to be recorded that is wound like a roll; a spindle motor 30 that makes the spindles 4L, 4R rotate in a normal direction A and a reverse direction B; conveyance roller 21 that comprises a conveyance driving roller 19 and a conveyance driven roller 20 that convey the roll-shaped material P to be recorded that is withdrawn from the roll part 31 so that the roll-shaped material P to be recorded is sandwiched; and a tension generating part 29 that generates a constant setting tension F to the roll-shaped material P to be recorded between the conveyance roller 21 and the roll part 31 without being influenced by a roll diameter D of the roll part 31.
