PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve a data transfer speed in clock-synchronized serial data communication.SOLUTION: In a communication device 1 performing clock-synchronous serial data communication between a master device 10 and a slave device 20, when data to be transmitted to the slave device 20 is identical to data transmitted immediately before, the master device 10 negates a chip select CS of the slave device 20 immediately after once asserting, without generating a clock CLK. When the chip select CS is asserted and thereafter the chip select CS is negated without the input of the clock CLK, the slave device 20 recognizes data received immediately before that as newly received data. |
