This installation for converting the mechanical energy of the wind into electrical energy comprises a platform (2), a set of blades (P) of vertical axis which are connected to the platform in such a way as to drive the platform in rotation under the effect of the wind, and at least one electrical-energy generator set (7) comprising at least one rotor connected to the platform in terms of rotation and at least one stator which is connected to a fixed structure. It comprises a set of masts (3) standing up from a peripheral region of the platform and to which the blades are respectively attached, the said blades each being associated with a device (16) for adjusting their angle of attack. |
