An elongated sheet supported by plastic film is conveyed to the print station. The color printing process is performed on the elongated sheets in print station. The plastic film has modulus of elasticity of 0.8GPa or greater than 1.0GPa, or greater than 1.2GPa, according to DIN EN ISO 527-1, 1996. An independent claim is included for single-layer, thin elongated sheets.
