PURPOSE: A reinforcement type crash barrier is provided to reduce collision energy transmitted to a guardrail and minimize the deformation of a pillar in a vehicle collision. CONSTITUTION: A reinforcement type crash barrier (100) includes a pillar (110), a connection member (120), and a guardrail (130). The pillar includes a plurality of reinforcing plates on the outer surface of a body at regular intervals in the circumference direction. The connection member comprises a fixing ring inserted to enclose the outer surface of the pillar and a bracket rotatably assembled in the fixing ring by a fixing member. The guardrail is installed in and fixed to an assembly hole formed on the bracket by a fastening member.
