SAFETY SYSTEM FOR BALLAST WATER ELECTROLYSIS DEVICE USING FLOW DETECTING SENSOR

PURPOSE: A safety system for a ballast water electrolysis device using a flow detecting sensor is provided to discontinue the driving of an electrolysis device corresponding to a branch pipe in which the flow rate of ballast water is not measured, thereby preventing safety accident generated when the electrolysis device is operated without the ballast water. CONSTITUTION: A safety system for a ballast water electrolysis device using a flow detecting sensor comprises: a main wire tube (10) for pulling in ballast water; a flow meter (15) which is installed at the main wire tube and measures the flow rate of the ballast water; at least one branch pipe (20) connected to the main wire tube; a shutoff valve (50) which is installed at the branch pipe and controls the flow of the ballast water by opening and closing the valve; an electrolysis device (40) which is formed to be corresponded to the branch pipe with one to one and sterilizes the ballast water flowed in the corresponding branch pipe by electrolyzing the ballast water and producing hypochlorous acid; and a flux sensor (30) which is installed at the branch pipe and senses the flow rate of the ballast water.
