PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a contact for electric connection, which can be manufactured in a short time and at a low cost, and has a spring function and is capable of improving the degree of freedom of setting a spring constant.SOLUTION: A contact 1 of the present invention is the contact 1 manufactured by contour forming work and bending work from one sheet of sheet metal, and includes: one end part 2 to be in contact with a contact object; another end part 3 for delivering signals from the one end part 2; an elastic part 4 extended while meandering and connected while energizing the one end part 2 in a separating direction D with respect to the other end part 3; and a housing part 5 for covering the elastic part 4. In the view in the separating direction D, the elastic part 4 is in a form that a part of a closed curve is notched as an opening, and a width W1 of the opening is made different from a maximum inner width W2 of the elastic part. |
