PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a coated film pasted onto a base film of an FPC housed in a housing of an optical pickup device from being easily peeled off.SOLUTION: In an optical pickup device, an optical component disposed on an optical path of a laser beam, an electronic component for recording and reading information on/from an optical disk by using the optical component, and a flexible printed circuit board electrically connected to the electronic component are housed in a housing. In the flexible printed circuit board, a single side area for using only one side and a double side area for using both sides are formed, the flexible printed circuit board is housed in the housing while folded along a fold formed at a prescribed position, and the single side area and the double side area are formed so as to include the fold in the single side area. |
