PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To minimize an injection capability of a high-pressure pump to the required minimum capability while ensuring a secure shifting to a limp home mode.SOLUTION: An electronic control unit 4 is configured as follows. When it is determined that rail pressure control is in an abnormal state (S102) and determined that the rail pressure control is required to be shifted to a secondary pressure control based on a secondary pressure of a pressure relief valve 10 (S104), the electronic control unit puts a flow control valve 6 into a fully-opened state and drives an air-bleeding electromagnetic pump 12 so as to supply fuel in a fuel tank 9 to a supply pump 5 and to open the pressure relief valve 10.
