PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To establish a detection system using a nucleic acid probe high in versatility, in a measuring system (for example, nucleic acid amplification) using a recombinase.SOLUTION: A method for detecting a target nucleic acid includes measuring a target nucleic acid, using a probe having the following features of (a) to (c), nicking enzyme, and recombinase. (a) The probe is a single-stranded nucleic acid molecule containing a pair of regions which can complementarily couple with each other, and a region which can complementarily couple with a target nucleic acid. (b) The probe contains a site which is cleaved by a cleaving enzyme. Besides, (c) the probe has a terminal label. |
