PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To appropriately disinfect both the peripheral wall and inner surface of a container lid.SOLUTION: A lid disinfecting apparatus (1) includes: a conveying mechanism (2) conveying container lids (10) individually along a conveyance path; an irradiation mechanism (4) irradiating the container lids (10) during the conveyance of the container lids (10) by the conveying mechanism (2) to disinfect the container lids (10); and a clean room (30) in which the container lids (10) are conveyed during the time when the container lids (10) are disinfected. The lid disinfecting apparatus (1) includes rotating mechanisms (22, 23, 24, 26) rotating the container lid (10) around a rotation axis during the time when the container lid (10) is conveyed by the conveying mechanism (2). The irradiation mechanism (4) is arranged on the conveyance path of the container lid (10) so that radiation emitted from the irradiation mechanism (4) may hit both of the outer peripheral wall (10a) of the container lid (10) and the internal region (10b) of the container lid (10), and the irradiation mechanism (4) irradiates the container lid (10) from two different radial directions. |
