PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem in which when a hardware option is removed from an image forming device because of failure or the like, execution of a function in a state where a software option depending on the hardware option is available may cause a fatal error.SOLUTION: When it is determined that a hardware option is not connected by means for detecting the hardware option and it is determined that the state of license of the hardware option is valid by means for retrieving the state of the license, the state of the option is temporarily changed to be invalid. |
