PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow a user to easily select a desired function intuitively from a menu by using fingers touching two points, so as to achieve easy operation of a display input device.SOLUTION: A display input device comprises: a display unit 11 that displays an image; and a touch panel unit 12 for detecting a plurality of positions being touched. When two points are touched simultaneously, if a positional relation between the touched two points is in a longitudinal direction, the display unit 11 displays a function selection menu 8 in which a plurality of images indicating functions are arranged in line in a lateral direction, and if a positional relation between the touched two points is in a lateral direction, displays a function selection menu 8 in which a plurality of images indicating functions are arranged in line in a longitudinal direction; and the touch panel unit 12 receives an operation to move a position of one of the two touched points as an input to change a function selected in the function selection menu 8.
