PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an engine configured such that the size of a shape of an engine itself is not increased and also an exhaust purification device facilitating replacement of a catalyst and superior in exhaust purification properties is provided.SOLUTION: An engine 100 includes an exhaust purification device 10 disposed at a middle part of an exhaust passage. In the exhaust purification device 10, an exhaust purification catalyst 42 is internally disposed in an exhaust manifold 5 providing communication between a cylinder head 3 of the engine 100 and a muffler 6 and forming a portion of the exhaust passage. |
