PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a newly structured contact lens for improving oxygen permeability and lacrimation exchangeability while securing satisfactory wear comfort in a double thin type.SOLUTION: In a peripheral part 16 disposed in the periphery of an optical part 28, a pair of thin parts 38a and 38b extending to a peripheral direction are formed at both upper and lower sides, and a pair of thick parts 40a and 40b extending to the peripheral direction are formed at both right and left sides with thickness dimensions which are larger than those of the thin parts 38a and 38b. At least one of recesses 46 and 46 at symmetrical positions in right and left directions in a wearing state is formed on a lens rear face 20 of each of the thick parts 40a and 40b, and the minimum thickness dimension in the formation section of the recess 46 is set so as to be larger than the thickness dimensions of the thin parts 38a and 38b. |
