PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a packet transmission system capable of obtaining a correspondence between a plurality of packets including image data without a detail analysis of image data at a reception side device, in a configuration for transmitting the plurality of packets.SOLUTION: A station side device 20 includes: an RTP packet generation part 25 for generating a basic packet including basic image data which represents a basic image, and for generating an associated packet containing associated image data, the associated image data obtained by compressing, based on a difference from the basic image, an associated image which has a correlation with the basic image and to be reproduced at the same timing as the basic image; and includes a transmission part 26 for transmitting the basic packet and the associated packet. The RTP packet generation part 25 inserts association information, for associating the basic packet and the association packet each other, at a field other than a field for basic image data and associated image data, in the basic packet and the associated packet respectively. |
