A fully automatic biochemical analyzer comprising a reaction rotor having an inner ring and an outer ring. The reaction rotor is divided circumferentially and equally into multiple cuvette positions. The reaction rotor is provided on a motion trajectory thereof with, of the inner ring and of the outer ring, photoelectric detection positions (71 and 72), sample-dispensing positions (30), reagent-dispensing positions (20 and 50), sample-stirring positions (40), reagent-stirring positions (60), and automatic cuvette-cleaning positions (11 and 12). The photoelectric detection positions of the inner ring and of the outer ring respectively are spaced apart by an N-number of cuvette positions in the clockwise or counterclockwise direction, while, of the inner ring and of the outer ring, the sample-dispensing positions, the reagent-dispensing positions, the sample-stirring positions, the reagent-stirring positions are all spaced apart by an M-number of cuvette positions in same direction, where M and N are both natural numbers while the difference between M and N is either 0 or 1. Under the premise that a consistent testing process is ensured for the inner and outer rings, this allows for reduced wastage of cuvettes, thus saving overall machine costs, while at the same time, allows the size of the reaction rotor to be as small as possible, thus facilitating highly precise driving and control of the reaction rotor and control of the overall machine size. |
