There is presented a method for generating one or more images indicative of perfusion in a human brain, the method comprising obtaining a first set of data corresponding to spatially resolved diffusion weighted data, calculating a second set of data corresponding to spatially resolved perfusion weighted data, such as intravoxel incoherent motion parameters, from the first set of data, providing the one or more images indicative of perfusion in the human brain, the images being based on the second set of data. In a more specific embodiment, the invention further relates to determining clinically relevant areas within the human brain, such as tumour. An advantage may be that obtaining one or more perfusion weighted images from the human brain may be realized by measuring diffusion weighted data and calculating the perfusion weighted data therefrom. |
