摘要 PURPOSE: A manufacturing method of an electrode for a secondary battery is provided to improve the adhesive force between a current collector and an electrode active material by increasing the surface area of the current collector through the surface processing of the current collector, and therefore, to be able to improve the rechargeable cycle characteristic of a secondary battery. CONSTITUTION: A manufacturing method of an electrode for a secondary battery in which an electrode active material is coated on a current collector comprises a process of surface-processing the current collector so as to have a morphology forming the surface roughness (Ra) of 0.001-10 micron size throughout the surface. The surface process is performed with chemical or electrical etching by the wet method, or reactive gas or ion etching by the dry method to improve the adhesive force of the electrode active material and the current collector. The chemical etching uses a mixture of FeCl3/HCl/H2O as an etching agent.
